Drumming Circle

Drumming Circle

Research indicates that Drumming accelerates physical healing, boosts the immune system and assists with releasing;- Anxiety, Depression, Fatigue, Grief, Behavioral Issues and many more.

Drumming can be very therapeutic, helping us and guiding us to connect with our Inner Rhythm. Research by the Royal College of Music has found that Drumming has a positive impact on Mental Health, it can re-vitalise and re-energise Mind, Body & Spirit.

This is a community event and can help with Social Interaction. No experience necessary, no Drum necessary, all instruments welcome, I have a selection of Hand Held Drums, Djembe Drums and Rattles.

We come together in a circle to Drum to Music, Drum for Healing and Drum for Fun. Dr Kim Brown who runs a non-profit organization on the Isle of Wight called Naturotherapy Cic, in conjunction with Bournemouth University have studied the benefits of Drumming particularly Drumming for Dementia. Their findings have encouraged Dr Brown to run training sessions to enable those who have suffered life changing situations and those who care for them, a sense of relaxation, social interaction and fun.
